Little Tips to Book a Hotel OnlineWe take for
granted the ability to book a hotel online today. We can effortlessly find the best hotel room as we search all hotels in
seconds with one touch of a button. We have the opportunity to find local hotels, read reviews, check floor plans, and really
find the best price hotels. Then, we can even find the best room in that hotel. It is fantastic what we have the ability to
do today. However, there are a couple of things we must consider as we shop for and find a cheap room.
Just because
we find a cheap room and the pictures look nice does not mean we have found the best deal. Many factors are to consider when
making that choice. A great tool for this determination is customer reviews. Reviews from the people that have actually stayed
at the hotel and know all the intricacies that are important to the average patron. I only book a hotel online when I find
that I have several reviews to inspect. I even have my mother doing the same process to find the best room for the money.
We do not read just one review. A disgruntled customer can leave a less than favorable report while there are 10 or 20 wonderful
reviews. To base an opinion upon the one unsatisfied guest would just be unfair to the establishment and I might miss the
best choice.
The next consideration takes a little more effort. I want to know what the neighborhood is like where
I am going to be staying. Luckily, the Internet is a great tool for that also. Another good indicator of this is the eating
establishments that are close. The hotel details will often mention the ones that are nearby. Of course, if we find local
hotels this is not as much of a concern as we should be familiar with the vicinity. When traveling a distance this becomes
a real concern.
We all want to find the best price hotels and therefore find the best hotel room. We would love
to find a cheap room fitting these criteria. If you use the methods I mention, even when you want to find local hotels you
are going to have a more successful experience. So search all hotels, read reviews, and find the best hotel room. If you book
a hotel online, these simple steps can mean the difference between trouble and a great experience.

| Excurision from San Francisco |

|
| Muir Woods National Monument |
Excursion from San Francisco, Visit California While Visiting San FranciscoCalifornia has a huge assortment of choices for travel. San Francisco travel
options during a San Francisco vacation, with such a large variety deserve a good look at the selection for the effort of
making an informed decision. In a days time one can venture out and experience natural beauty unrivalled in the world. During
an excursion from San Francisco for a day while on your trip you will see the magic that has captured the world’s imagination
since California was first discovered. Of the many possibilities is the scenic 17-mile drive of Monterey Bay, chances to tour
San Francisco wine country, or the opportunity to visit the Muir Woods, with several options in the choice alone. Each has
its own taste of the Golden State for your enjoyment.
The extremely scenic 17-mile drive of Monterey is one of
the most captivating trips of the state. Winding through the coastal mountains the trail will lead you to several famous locations.
From San Francisco traveling south on highway 1, you are going to see some of the most spectacular waterfronts in the world.
Passing through Santa Cruz and continuing to Carmel (where Clint Eastwood was once mayor), scheduled stops include the cannery
row that John Steinbech immortalized in novel. Seaside exploration, shopping, and activities for everyone are found while
visiting Carmel. The drive back to San Francisco will take you through the Silicon Valley completing a huge loop of the peninsula.
When speaking of San Francisco wine country it is the Napa and Sonoma Valleys, of which one is speaking. A different
type of countryside altogether when one compares it to the rugged central coast mentioned above. Gentle rolling hills with
grassy lands that show the waves of wind upon the tops, a view I will never forget. In other areas, vineyards as far as the
eye can see, a winery must be near. The contrast of the two lands, less than 100 miles apart is extreme. During the journey,
you will visit some of the finest wineries in the world and taste wines that reflect that excellence. A drive of my childhood
often with the family, this truly is a beautiful part of California. The completion of journey is a lazy cruise across the
bay, missing the traffic to end a special days excursion from San Francisco.
The Muir Woods, a national monument
is home to some of the oldest and tallest trees in the world. The old growth coastal redwoods are full of stories, as humans
have affected the park, for good and bad for centuries. Home to many miles of hiking trail, camping, biking, horseback riding
and smoking are not permitted in the national monument. Even food is only allowed in a specific location. They trees do deserve
our protection, some are perhaps a thousand years old, or more. I remember looking a slice of a tree and the timeline of history
was pointing to in the rings. The birth of Christ was highlighted, if that 2000 years? They are old. The tours you can combine
for a comprehensive city tour following your 90 minutes in the woods. Alternatively, you might want to visit Sausalito, the
charming hamlet across the bay at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge. Last, you have the option to enjoy a San Francisco
Bay Cruise after the Muir Woods experience.
As I said, San Francisco travel options are worthy of consideration
for the making of an informed decision. A well-planned San Francisco Vacation can allow one to experience much more, and there
is always more to experience. Tour San Francisco Wine Country, learn a new appreciation for the art of wine making. The scenic
17-mile drive will leave you in awe of the magnificent central coast and finally, The Muir Woods will let you step back hundreds
of years as you visit the giants of the coastal lands. This is California. This is accessible California for a day excursion
from San Francisco during your special San Francisco vacation experience, a memory building collection of journeys.

| Peir 39 at Fisherman's Wharf |

|
| San Francisco Travel Options |
San Francisco’s most visited location is Fisherman’s Wharf.
Home of world-class dinning, as you walk the wharf during the day your mouth will water at the smell of the succulent dungeness
crab. Fisherman’s Wharf Tours are a great way to take in the entire wharf during a visit. Fisherman’s Wharf Attractions
are historic and fun. The smell of the fine seafood that you may sample fades to the aroma of San Francisco’s famous
Sourdough bread as you wonder to one of several location that are in the vicinity.
Ghirardelli Square is just
across the street from the wharf. Home to Ghirardelli Chocolate’s flagship location, the chocolate giant has been in
San Francisco since 1852. They moved to the present location in 1895 and the history is rich in the area. One can sample chocolates
and ice cream on breaks from the many attractions of the Wharf.
Pier 39 is also within walking distance. Home
to 110 shops and several bay front dining choices the location offers post card views of the Bay. The Golden gate Bridge,
Alcatraz, and the Bay Bridge are all part of the panorama of photo opportunities. With family attractions available the Fisherman’s Wharf pass and pier 39 pass that are available is a great money saving opportunity.
To fill the time the other attractions include the
National Liberty Ship Memorial (the S.S. O’Brien), The Aquarium of the Bay, Anchorage Square, and nearby is the Home
of the World Champion San Francisco Giants! Talented and unique street performers appear daily, providing one of a kind entertainment
opportunity for a well-rounded day.
The San Francisco travel options are so many. This is just a small portion
of the beautiful city. Fisherman’s Wharf attractions are activities not to miss, for sure, but it is not all that the
City by the Bay has to offer…

| San Francisco Bicycle Rental |

|
| Crissy Field... At the Edge of Golden Gate Park |
A San Francisco Bicycle Tour Offers a Fresh City ExperienceA San Francisco Bicycle tour is a wonderful way to see the city up-close.
The daily-guided tour is complete journey with many San Francisco travel options of its own. However, there is some not wanting
a guided tour, not even for part of a day. For those that wish to exercise self-exploration a San Francisco Bicycle rental
may be the perfect choice. The daily tour may surprise even those individuals.
On the daily tour, you will
meet at Fisherman’s Wharf. The guides will orient you with the bicycle and your gear. Then you are off. Along the San
Francisco waterfront, you are going to enjoy a wonderful ride with several notable sites. You will visit or see Aquatic Park,
Fort Mason, the Marina, the Presidio, and several other locations while you bike to the Golden Gate Bridge. The ride across
the bridge is exhilarating and the view over the edge is breathtaking as you look down. The other side of the bridge is the
small hamlet of Sausalito where you will venture into art galleries, find wonderful food, or enjoy fabulous shopping. Yes
that is the end of the tour. What about getting back, you may ask.
The return to the bike shop is probably
the best part. You have the choice, you can use the ferry ticket that you receive as part of the tour or you can venture off
on the bike back across the bridge for a little personal venture through the city until the shop closes. The bike is yours
all day! The tour operators provide you with city maps, for you to keep and you will have a lock so that you may venture into
a lounge on the waterfront with confidence while returning, if you choose. Although, some just want a bike.
A San Francisco Bicycle rental is a whole bunch of fun. The city is extremely bicycle friendly and you will not lack for
destinations as you explore your San Francisco travel options for the day. You can cross the Golden Gate, cruise the waterfront,
or go find Golden Gate Park, which is a fantastic riding location. The north beach at the park’s edge is a wonderful
riding location also with the famous Cliff House Restaurant at the East end. Do not miss the Cliff House, a personal recommendation,
if you find the time.
As you can see, San Francisco Travel options during a San Francisco Bicycle tour are
a reality, thanks to the thoughtful tour operators that allow you to keep the bike at tours end. Nevertheless, a San Francisco
Bicycle rental may be more your speed. In that case, the city is wide open for explorations unlimited. I know a few special
spots and I will share them, along with some crazy city stories from my youth in other writings. So, check back in for a local’s
perspective. Until then, enjoy my favorite city!

| San Francisco Bay Cruises |

|
| Dinner Cruise on San Francisco Bay |
San Francisco Bay Cruises are LuxuryThe number one San Francisco travel option is
San Francisco Bay Cruises that offer breathtaking cityscapes during romantic dinners. Three hours of a luxury cruise with
drinks and a meal. Cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz with a beautiful cityscape in constant view. The
cruise offers breathtaking views. An attentive crew sees to your every care and desire. The lighted
skyline during an evening dinner cruise will have the oldest, longest married couple falling in love all over again. Not to
take anything away from a first date. Take a sweetheart to dinner on a San Francisco Bay Cruise and you will
build a memory that will last a lifetime. Can you imagine, that gorgeous city skyline, at night, holding hands
while you walk along the deck? I believe in memorable first kisses. Think that would create a lasting impression?
There are many other cruises to be enjoyed, for every taste.
Try a lunch cruise around Alcatraz Island or a sunset
cruise for 2 hours of San Francisco’s waterfront scenery and skyline. There is even an architecture tour to explore
the City by the Bay’s history from a different perspective. Speaking of a different perspective,
how about an amphibious tour?
That’s right, amphibious. Ride the Ducks is a tour from a vehicle modeled
after a WW II DUKW. This is a reproduction of a historic vehicle from which to see the historic city. This tour
will take it to the streets and then to the bay where you will receive a close up of waterfront interests that include McCovey
Cove, home of the splash down home run made famous during Barry Bond’s historic Giant tenure, AT&T Ballpark, San
Francisco Bay Bridge and much more. On land it’s Fishermen's Wharf, Chinatown, Ghirardelli Square, Union Square
and even more. San Francisco is a city that is often neglected in water enjoyment. As you see there are many different water
adventures, and pleasures to enjoy.
Next time you go to The City by the Bay be sure to enjoy the best in San Francisco
travel options and see the other side of the city, from the bay during San Francisco Bay Cruises.
